Area of Practice

Ms. Fisher focuses her practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technology areas. Ms. Fisher also engages in the analysis and management of patent portfolios, advises clients on related intellectual property issues, including infringement and validity analysis, and provides litigation support concerning patent infringement issues.

Professional Background

Ms. Fisher has worked in the intellectual property field for almost twenty years, and has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in a variety of technological areas. Particular areas of experience include integrated circuit design, semiconductor fabrication, electromagnetic systems, RF antenna design, computer systems and networking, sensors and security systems, wireless communications systems, solid state lighting, and various forms of medical sensors, diagnostic systems and instrumentation. However, Ms. Fisher enjoys learning new technologies and finding ways to protect innovative concepts in those areas.

Prior to joining Egan, Enders and Huston, LLP, Ms. Fisher worked as a Technical Advisor with Daffer McDaniel, LLP and Conley Rose, PC. While studying for her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Ms. Fisher worked as a graduate assistant in the UT Biomedical Engineering Laser Laboratory using advanced optical systems and signal processing to study insect infrared detection systems. While studying for her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Ms. Fisher worked as a co-operative engineer for Alabama Power analyzing load distribution across the entire Western Division and providing load rebalancing analysis.
